The Direct Ph.D. Program is available for undergraduate students with outstanding academic records and research potential. This program enables our undergraduate students to obtain the Ph.D. degree without spending time on preparing theses for their Master’s degree. It also provides great flexibility in course selection and research planning.

Eligibility

A student is eligible to apply for this program if he/she satisfies all of the following conditions:

1.      He/she is currently an undergraduate student of NTHU and is going to graduate within this academic year.

2.      His/her GPA is in the top 30% of his/her class.
